ABOUT

The Migrants' Supper Club gathers twice a month.
Each dinner offers historically researched menus based on migration routes in Central Asia, the Mediterranean and Europe.

Our founder

I grew up in Tel Aviv, in a family of travellers with roots in Jerusalem, Samarkand, Riga, Galicia, and the Mediterranean. Their food and stories nurtured my passions for history and cooking.

I trained as a pastry chef at the Cordon Bleu, Paris, and learnt the secrets of Italian cuisine and wine-making while living in Todi, Umbria.

I studied History in Bologna, Los Angeles and Oxford, and hold a PhD in International Studies from the University of Cambridge, exploring intellectual history in the 20th century. My cooking brings together ideas and flavours gathered in my travels, historical studies and family stories.

Fascinating Histories, Delicious Food.

The Migrants’ Supper Club celebrates the contribution of migrants and travellers to culinary culture in the UK and beyond.

We share a passion for great food, lovely company, and fascinating historical stories of people on the move.
Our dinners combine these three passions into unforgettable and elegantly served feasts.

Each evening, Or cooks a delicious four courses dinner, using superb quality materials from near and far. The meal is accompanied by a flight of drinks chosen by the Club’s sommelier.

The Migrants’ Supper Club is an opportunity to discover new culinary delights and meet lovely people in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

We are happy to accommodate any dietary requirement,  preference or dislikes, if we know about them in advance.
